could you please rename the patch to something sensible? If you still want to download it every time, it suffices to add
#/new-name.patchat the end of the line.Just to be clear, does it not help to have the patch name directly refer to the upstream git commit id?
It does, but 1. it won't tell anything about the fix to the human packager 2. the commit ID is included in the header of the patch anyway
... certainly it helps to mention the commit ID somewhere, but IMO the name of the patch should tell something about the fixed issue
