findlib is certainly difficult to deal with, but: why is the compression format changed?

The service generated sources (git) do not contain the man page, so for generating the man page it would require osx (can be fulfilled), and db2man (that ocaml package is not available on openSUSE).

But the upstream provided release package (SourceURL) already provides the man page.
