20+- Enable Linux 5.14 and pull fixes since 7.3.0
Perfectly in time of us moving to Linux 5.15 :(
Don't worry - it's broken since usrmerge anyway... boo#1190434

Can't we interact with / reuse the gdb package? (i.e. gdb 11.1)
No. This is based on gdb 7.6. The next release will be based on gdb 10.2 but the support is not stable yet. Neither is designed to work with 11.1. Also the gdb sources are patched to support crash.
Yes, that's true. Look at
crash-7.3.0.tar.gz/gdb-7.6.patch
. Erm, yes, I agree that the design of the crash utility is ugly.It should work for 5.15 as well. There are fixes for 5.16 which are intentionally not included because they are added after the update to gdb 10.2
