Possible candidate to cause the go failures
Yes, somehow the go copy of compiler-rt TSAN doesn't like PIE executables. I have a fix for go1.4 and am testing whether it works for the others as well
SRs 905776, 905777, 905778 (to devel:languages:go)
Please tell me if I understand correctly that after this update such notices of RPMLint should go away:
eiskaltdcpp-daemon.x86_64: W: position-independent-executable-suggested /usr/bin/eiskaltdcpp-daemon eiskaltdcpp-qt.x86_64: W: position-independent-executable-suggested /usr/bin/eiskaltdcpp-qt This executable should be position independent (all binaries should). Check that it is built with -fPIE/-fpie in compiler flags and -pie in linker flags.
Or is this alone not enough?
Some of those will go away, yes.
