You have to sidestep the overly greedy behavior of the python macros to make "python-glue" be kept literally:
https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Packaging_Python#Obsoleting_and_Providing_old_symbols
As is, the "Provides: python-glue" is pointless.
