- update to 0.22 0.22 - changes: bugfixes for unit tests on BSD platforms 0.21.1 - changes: internal bugfixes, valgrind neatness
There seems to be a version number at end of the changes header entry after the email address.
Also wondering what are these "internal fixes, valgrind neatness"?? Like use-after-free or something more benign?
Yes, that's part of the changelog format. I always add it (when I don't forget it). Reduces one of the rpmlint warnings. ;-)
But as "osc vc" doesn't auto-add it, you don't see it used that often here in OBS. Much more often in Fedora changelogs.
Don't ask me, that's upstream.
It's a useless entry. I've looked in the upstream changelog and it says
"Fix offbyone buffer overflow in sprintf calculation of key names "
but looking at the sources, it seemed this was never in our 0.20 version.
