Overview
@lnussel should use the new sysusers mechanism.
What is this new mechanism? Any pointers?
https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Packaging_guidelines#Users_and_Groups has some info.
I was going to take a stab at adopting the new mechanism, but the doc is hard to parse. I looked at the uucp package hoping it would help clarify info, but that only added confusion since it doesn't use the mechanism. I did find flatpak as an example, but now I'm uncertain about the libvirtdbus user:group? Who requires that? Any external users (cockpit), or internal only?
sure but so far it's not mandatory and I lazily took the Fedora spec file. I'm sure this package isn't a candidate for busybox containers anyways. And if so the person insisting in that is free to adjust the package :-)
I took a stab at this and resubmitted the package. Please have a look at req#819304 and let me know if it is okay. Thanks!
