Why change the package source file format as well? IMHO keeping obscpio is better

The saving the compression overhead argument is kinda pointless when there's a buildtime recompress still
I didn't say it's better but I see no reason to change the format :) However I leave the decision to the package maintainer https://build.opensuse.org/users/Dead_Mozay :)
I do not see a problem in changing the file format, I can not do anything with this request, not enough privileges
