so now the problem is -test which is unable to be built

https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/openSUSE:Leap:15.2:Staging:adi:8/matrix-synapse-test

I guess that means I'll need to submit these packages from Factory:

  • python3-Twisted
  • python3-prometheus_client
  • python3-pymacaroons

(It's a bit odd this isn't a problem for Leap 15.0 and 15.1...)

that because the required version has been changed

nothing provides python3-Twisted >= 18.9.0 needed by python3-matrix-synapse, nothing provides python3-prometheus_client >= 0.4.0 needed by python3-matrix-synapse, nothing provides python3-pymacaroons >= 0.13.0 needed by python3-matrix-synapse

eg. Requires: python-Twisted >= 16.0.0 changed to Requires: python-Twisted >= 18.9.0

and those required python modules were old in Leap

I opened a few new requests yesterday for those packages (sr#743624 sr#743623) but I just saw your comment about Twisted being a SLE package. I will take a look at submitting it, but I don't know how the SUSE folks maintaining it feel about an upgrade...
