Candidate for the kio-extras5 build failure:

[ 114s] /usr/lib64/gcc/x86_64-suse-linux/9/../../../../x86_64-suse-linux/bin/ld: /home/abuild/rpmbuild/BUILD/kio-extras-19.08.2/sftp/kio_sftp.cpp:489: undefined reference to `ssh_set_log_callback'

Those .clangd files shouldn't be in the tarball either AFAICT

a) Those clangd files will be gone in the next release. b) objdump -T lib/libssh.so | grep ssh_set_log_callback 000000000002f056 g DF .text 0000000000000038 LIBSSH_4_5_0 ssh_set_log_callback I can see the symbol. Which version did it pick up as it failed to build for x86_64 due to a timeout in a test. And I'm not allowed to trigger rebuilds for packages I own.

Error while triggering rebuild for devel:libraries:c_c++/libssh: No permission to modify project 'devel:libraries:c_c++' for user 'gladiac'.

It built correctly in the staging so that's not the issue. It's surprising to me that a package maintainer doesn't have permissions to trigger a rebuild - that seems wrong.

The issue with kio-extras is that there is no mention of libssh in the linker call, this is because ${LIBSSH_LIBRARIES} is empty after find_package(libssh ...)

Thanks Fabian!

Now I understand it. We generated the libssh-config.cmake manually before. Now we rely on what cmake produces with install(EXPORTS libssh-config) and this seems to be doing strange things :-(

I will try to fix it and do a new release!
