NOTE:

Upstream applied and then reverted gnome-shell-animations-speedup.patch for the stable branch - it's still applied for master branch. The reason for revert was it was shown to break 3'rd party gnome-shell themes. I'm not sure if we care about those or not. (forwarded request 705512 from iznogood)
