@pgajdos What is the experience you failed to have with -Og?
I do not remember exactly, it is some time ago (there was some issues with backtrace, if I recall correctly). You have questioned the sync in sr#688320, but I do not want to test right now. As I will probably be the only one using debug_build in future released distros (rarely in TW), it does not matter for anyone else what is there.
Or was it tracing in gdb? Hmm, as I said, I do not remember.
Sounds like a change that should be undone then, no? (I sent in -Og just recently, because for me it had addresses the rather annoying problems of -O2, such as instruction reordering.)
I plan to compare O0 and Og implications on my debugging, but not now.
