Hi Jan,

could you please explain the Group change? The rest looks fine to me but I am a bit surprised by that change. Just point me to a similar library with the same Group setting.

The group change is mandated by the Shared Library Packaging Policy which somewhere states that the use of "System/Libraries" is essentially reserved for packages that

1. get automatically installed as a requirement of something else, and also
2. provide a library / provide no end user programs

The RPM file(s) that are affected by my change to line 26 fulfill neither of these conditions!

I really don't see how libobjc2 would not fit both criteria as there is no use for it by itself it is the basic library that could be used by Objective-C programs instead of the gcc libobjc implementation. But this isn't important to me so I will accept your change.
