Hi John, thanks for the proposal, I'm just annoyed by the failing tests for Leap 15.1. If we push forward it will end up there too and will need to be fixed afterward.
Quite likely that is because I am intentionally excluding d-l-py from being used by my builds. c.f. https://build.opensuse.org/projects/home:jayvdb:coala:python3-bears/meta
If pushed into d-l-py, I expect it would pass the tests.
I added export LANG=en_US.UTF-8 before the test suite and it now works on Leap 15.1 using "standard" only
I'll submit that, but someone more familiar with Leap should work out what else needs to be updated to pass.
