not dynamically linked because I have no idea how to do that. So nothing for Factory :/ But as it is still a great tool, I'd like to have it in openSUSE

I'm going to accept this, but it does need some work before it can be considered for factory/tumbleweed:
1) dos2unix should be replaced with "sed". sed is part of the base build environment.
2) The license and doc files having ../ at the start is strange and reaches outside the expanded tarball?
3) The RPM error needs to be fixed.
No. The tarball has the *.txt files and two directories, source/ and resources/. With %setup I change to source, but for the other files I need to change one level up. Ideally I would instruct %setup to do not change the cwd at all, but I have not found a way to do that.
As I wrote in the request I don't know how to do that, so we can't submit it for Factory unfortunately.
For 1) I'll create a new Request.
