If I understood things right, linux-glibc-devel is supposed to get a fix for https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1053501
which would reference this commit: https://github.com/openSUSE/kernel/commit/e5d25b2b777a2b82055a9a88744240c1aa1c0fc6#diff-d59b5969d3b0d13262fe156c4d4ab71d
Looking at the diff of this package, though, this is not included (also needed for SLE15)
This patch needs to go upstream and will then appear in the next version update.
I doubt we want to wait for as long as it takes until a new version ships this fix... See SLE15 Staging:A
