Overview
@coolo @luca_b The license is wrong/incomplete on this one. The edict data (cf. edict.spec) is CC-BY-SA. Older versions of the edict data — and there is no telling which version kiten bundles — is even non-OSI. Can't kiten just re-use the data from edict.rpm as far as is possible?
I contacted someone upstream to see how this can be handled. I'd love edict to get unbundled here if possible.
I think just overriding it with a symlink in openSUSE should get us there, too.
I checked, it's CC-BY-SA https://cgit.kde.org/kiten.git/tree/data/edrdg_license.html
