+Requires: python3-gobject => are you sure you don't need python3-gobject-Gdk ? This sounds more like a GUI app to me.

also: requires: python3 ? the whole package? I'd think that having the shebang in the scripts changed from /usr/bin/env python3 to /usr/bin/python3 would be sufficient to have this properly auto-detected

You're right about the first one, but I don't see a requirement for python3 in the built rpm after changing the shebang. What's the difference anyway? Isn't /usr/bin/python3 usually contained in the python3 package? Or is this some sort of future-proofing?

Checked using rpm -qRp or on the obs webui? the obs webui does not show file provides
