- New upstream release 7.6.0
* no changelog provided
* Migrate to database schema version 1030.
It is NOT POSSIBLE to downgrade Signal if you have started it after this update!
For me this update sometimes breaks starting signal. That means on the console it works perfect, using the plasma menu works mostly, but using "krunner" it always fails. Unfortunately, this means basically no reasonable error messages. In the system log I found
[0428/082136.446363:ERROR:elf_dynamic_array_reader.h(64)] tag not found
[0428/082136.448022:WARNING:process_reader_linux.cc(146)] no stack mapping
but I am not really sure. Do you have any ideas where to look further? (I already tried modifying the desktop file to remove the --use-tray-icon without success...)
Then can you at least give an unsymbolized backtrace and the base address? We build everything with -fasynchronous-unwind-tables so it should be mostly accurate.

Is there a core dump produced?
Yes, but it does not really help me.
gdb program coredump

Currently I do not have >8 GB of space for the debug packages of electron+signal.
