Your assumption and execution are completely wrong.
I have been maintaining the package since 2016. During this time, the spec has been compared several times with the spec from upstream.
And if upstream changes massively, downstream has to follow. And the copyright information, which is so unimportant, only results from the fact that I had copied it at the time. I could also have left it out.
So please accept it.
