The idea of switching to a foreign library and abandoning the native library just to build for an aging distribution was disgusting!

Leap 15.3 has long been unsupported and the aging Leap 15.4 builds fine with native QtMultimedia.

I suggest taking care of your wording. Leap 15.3 was supported when the change was made.

I should have updated Qt in Leap 15.3.

If it was not possible to do so, then you need to enable the if/else block only for Leap 15.3 and not for all.

It is now irrelevant and should have been removed long ago.
