Overview
@dimstar what is the best way to solve this? Probably it would make more sence to have erdree stay with the short 'et' and rename the other? I even thought to remove EternalTerminal since probably not many use it and they had some CVEs recently which were not handled so well..
Possible solutions:
- Rename one or the other; the shorter the name, the more likely to have a conflict
- Only have one of the two available in the repos (so, delreq ET seems like an option)
- Declare
Conflicts: EternalTerminal
in erdtree - them being totally unrelated makes a conflict very bad for users, as they can't use both even if they wanted to
Do you have an example package in mind regarding the renaming?
