Problem is that this host has an invalid certificate for that host.

The certificate presented is valid for *.his.com and his.com... does not exactly (or remotely) match invisible-island.net

Means I've to switch back to ftp: ... or is there any way to specify that service command accepts for runall download_files an exception?

Dominique Leuenberger's avatar

you could use http:// instead of https://

Using https (to claim security/trust) and then accepting certificate errors is definitively not something the download service should ever support (a bot is not able to assess this risk, and the main purpose of https is to ensure we get the data from where we trust it to come from)
