Hmmm ... it was you who had reset procps with 4.0.0 to procps 3.3.17. With this is is not possible to test the new procps 4.0.1 on Tumbleweed
Oh hm, that is unfortunate to hear. But yeah, I can see how procps4 would help for testing. I can't reopen on your behalf, so please do.

And I recall salt was having issues with the procps output: https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1198169
I see ... that means there will be a procps3 beside a new procps version 4.0.1
temporarily maybe. A different option is to copypac procps to procps3, then change prjconf etc. to use procps3, bump procps to 4.x, then when it looks good change thr prjconf and delete procps3 again.
However, isn't openqa supposed to test new package versions without going through such hoops?
From upstream mailing list:
Hi All, procps 4.0.2 is now at release candidate 1. This will mainly be used for translators to update their po files as some translatable strings were missing. Version 4.0.2 of procps, once its released, will be uploaded into the main (sid) distribution of Debian before the freeze occurs in early 2023. The plan is to be no more 3.3.x releases unless there is some critical bug found in it. - Craig
