Ok, well, the package is now part of a devel project: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/Virtualization:containers/passt . I actually should have submitted it to Factory too, but haven't had the time yet. It think we should consider that the actual upstream for it, and both branch and submit changes to it, as it's easier to get in Factory something that it's already in a devel project.
I can add you as a maintainer of such package in the devel project, if you want. Just let me know. :-)
The spec-file was taken almost from scratch from the one available in the upstream repo, but I can apply some of the suggestions above, that's for sure.
