Any chance of providing a variant of this package built with wayland support instead of x11?
The correct way to do that is to pass
-DUSE_WAYLAND=TRUEwhen building. This is mutually exclusive with X11 support for some reason, so it would have to be in a separate package that conflicts the x11 version. (That's how most other distros handle this)
