An acronym of GEometry ANd Tracking
Geant4 is a toolkit for the simulation of the passage of particles through matter. Its areas of application include high energy, nuclear and accelerator physics, as well as studies in medical and space science. The two main reference papers for Geant4 are published in Nuclear Instruments and Methods in Physics Research A 506 (2003) 250-303, and IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science 53 No. 1 (2006) 270-278.
It is noted that only dynamic libraries are included in this package just for the end users.

@badsha400 - there is a dependency loop in the devel package, it depends on geant4-data-G4ENSDFSTATE, and vice versa.
Maybe we should move the macros to a separate package, with the same version as the geant4 "major_version". BuildRequire the macro package from any data package (unversioned), and as a versioned build dependency for geant4 (to avoid getting out of sync).
This fixes the build dependency loop, and also avoids any rebuilds of unchanged data packages everytime geant4 is touched.
Great suggestion, I agree completely.
If you'd like to make an sr, that would be much appreciated. Otherwise, I shall get to it on Monday or so.
Thanks for the pointers.
