Fyi I'm working on getting this up and running again @ https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:avindra/vbam
Its almost there. Had to disable the post build checks to get those rpm artifacts but I'm working with upstream development to fix the code issues
https://github.com/visualboyadvance-m/visualboyadvance-m/issues/134
My goal is to submit a request to take over this package and refresh it with the upstream development.
This is ready for review now :)

Is the lack for ffmpeg support really necessary ?
I removed it because other broken things were higher priority. Feel free to make a request if you can add it back in !
Well, is it even broken or not ? Personally, I prefer RetroArch for emulating anything but GC/Wii and PS2. And would prefer simplescreenrecorder for recording instead of built-in half-solutions. Just curious, not a fan of disabled features for no reason.
It is broken. I just tried re-enabling ffmpeg. When you try to start to record, vbam just crashes.
I would also recommend using a dedicated screen recording tool instead of the native integration.
