This package contains a generic transaction implementation for Python. It is mainly used by the ZODB, though.

Note that the data manager API, transaction.interfaces.IDataManager, is syntactically simple, but semantically complex. The semantics were not easy to express in the interface. This could probably use more work. The semantics are presented in detail through examples of a sample data manager in transaction.tests.test_SampleDataManager

Twitter library for Python, also works with identi.ca/laconi.ca.

Features:
+ OAuth support (including xAuth)
+ Covers the entire Twitter API
+ Actively under development
+ Streaming API support
+ Cache system (memory, file)

unittest-xml-reporting is a unittest test runner that can save test results
to XML files that can be consumed by a wide range of tools, such as build
systems, IDEs and continuous integration servers.

Urwid is a Python library for making text console applications. It has many features including fluid interface resizing, support for UTF-8 and CJK encodings, standard and custom text layout modes, simple markup for setting text attributes, and a powerful, dynamic list box that handles a mix of widget types. It is flexible, modular, and leaves the developer in control.

zdaemon is a Python package which provides APIs for managing
applications run as daemons. Its principal use to date has been to
manage the application server and storage server daemons for Zope / ZEO,
although it is not limited to running Python-based applications

This package is intended to be independently reusable in any Python project. It is maintained by the Zope Toolkit project.

This package provides an implementation of object interfaces for Python. Interfaces are a mechanism for labeling objects as conforming to a given API or contract. So, this package can be considered as implementation of the Design By Contract methodology support in Python.

This is the development project for Python-based general-purpose numeric and plotting packages, such as numpy and matplotlib.

SymPy is a Python library for symbolic mathematics. It aims to become a full-featured computer algebra system (CAS) while keeping the code as simple as possible in order to be comprehensible and easily extensible. SymPy is written entirely in Python and does not require any external libraries.

LIBSVM is an integrated software for support vector classification, (C-SVC, nu-SVC), regression (epsilon-SVR, nu-SVR) and distribution estimation (one-class SVM). It supports multi-class classification.

GYP is a tool to generates native Visual Studio, Xcode and SCons and/or make
build files from a platform-independent input format. Its syntax is a universal
cross-platform build representation that still allows sufficient per-platform
flexibility to accommodate irreconcilable differences

all and nothing

The standard Java libraries fail to provide enough methods for
manipulation of its core classes. The Commons Lang Component provides
these extra methods.

The Commons Lang Component provides a host of helper utilities for the
java.lang API, notably String manipulation methods, basic numerical
methods, object reflection, creation and serialization, and System
properties. Additionally it contains an inheritable enum type, an
exception structure that supports multiple types of nested-Exceptions
and a series of utilities dedicated to help with building methods, such
as hashCode, toString and equals.

Commons Math is a library of lightweight, self-contained mathematics and
statistics components addressing the most common problems not available in
the Java programming language or Commons Lang.
