The Alertmanager handles alerts sent by client applications such as the
Prometheus server. It takes care of deduplicating, grouping, and routing
them to the correct receiver integration such as email, PagerDuty, or
OpsGenie. It also takes care of silencing and inhibition of alerts.

Prometheus's main features are:
- a multi-dimensional data model (time series identified by metric name and key/value pairs)
- a flexible query language to leverage this dimensionality

- targets are discovered via service discovery or static configuration

This is a plugin meant to be used as a centralized view for the status of component in a glance. It is very similar to the Single Stat panel, but it can hold multiple values from the same data source. Each value can be used to customize the panel in different ways:

- Mark the severity of the component
- Mark if the component is disabled
- Show extra data in the panel about the component

The blackbox exporter allows blackbox probing of endpoints over
HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, TCP and ICMP.
