Compiz 0.8.6 with emerald for openSUSE 11.4.
These packages are hastily built and with rpmlint warnings, but they work. Gtk/Gnome integration has been limited due to compilation errors that I didn't want to investigate (specifically, no gtk-window-decorator).
Emerald version is the current version git.
Compiz is an OpenGL compositing manager that use
GLX_EXT_texture_from_drawable for binding redirected top-level windows
to texture objects. It has a flexible plug-in system and it is designed
to run well on most graphics hardware.

Compiz Manager wrapper script
This script will detect what options we need to pass to compiz to get
it started, and start a default plugin and possibly window decorator.
An additional plugin for compiz, called photowheel.
It's unsupported in any way, may or may not work for you.
