Hmm, the activate tests seems wrong as it is under bcond_with and thus disabled... Is that on purpose?

https://github.com/openSUSE/py2pack/issues/112 - I dont understand why so many existing packages use this, and this package inherited it from :misc. I can still run the tests with a macro hack, but it would be nice to remove this.
Just delete the conditionals unconditionaly :)
They were not needed ever. Some authors in the past added them. The only reason for the conditional is to avoid buildcycles or to disable it on older distributions, see python-pbr.

Aw crap, could you also remove that pypi tarball here?
The maintainer myint will be doing a release soon (and he maintains quite a few of the linters, so will be working through this problem across them all).
