The most common cases for bigsync are disk images, virtual operating systems, or encrypted volumes. It will read the source file in chunks, calculating checksums for each one. It will compare them with previously stored values for the destination file and overwrite changed chunks if checksums differ. This way, it minimizes the access to slow target media. %prep %setup -q %patch1 %build make %{?_smp_mflags} \ CC="gcc" \ OPTFLAGS="%{optflags}" %install make DESTDIR=%{buildroot} install %{?_smp_mflags} \ PREFIX="%{_prefix}" \ MANDIR="%{_mandir}" %files %defattr(-,root,root) %doc LICENSE README %{_bindir}/bigsync %{_mandir}/man1/bigsync.1%{ext_man} %changelog
