I see no objection to this. Just tell me when you have an opam v1 package + its dependencies ready then I'll rename this package "opam2" so that you can use the "opam" package name and submit it here. Meanwhile, use "opam1" or something as name in your home repo. Thanks.
I've just managed to package v1. It's at https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:onthewings/opam1
OK, I've created sr#596948 in order to rename opam v2 into opam2, so you can rename your opam1 into opam and submit it here.
